HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

There was enough material left of Faith's Halloween costume to make Jaylee one. They looked so cute in them. We're having pumpkin shaped bread bowls with homemade soup in them tomorrow for Halloween. (They are orange with green stems). We started this years ago with Heather's family. It's fun to eat the soup out of little pumpkins. The kids get something good for their tummies before they eat all the candy. The only sad thing is Heather's family isn't with us. Anyway, HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all of you, PLEASE BE SAFE!!!  Posted by Picasa
Here's Faith at my ward Halloween Party Wednesday the 25th. She had a fun time at the booths and drinking rootbeer. I had offered to make her Halloween costume since Aleia had a new baby and was going to be quite busy. It was fun to do since my sewing machines worked well.  Posted by Picasa

Uncle Christopher and Faith on his 26th Birthday.
October 24, 2006

Christopher and Bailey

Today was Christopher's 26th Birthday. We of course went to Matta's to celebrate. Bailey, Ron, Lydia, Ronnie , Aleia, Faith, Jaylee, Jason, and Mason, his friend, all went. Ronnie went to Marie Calendar's afterwards and bought a couple of pies. We went back to our house and visited. I can't believe how fast time flies by. It seems like it was just a few years ago not 26 years that I had Christopher. Now, he's married, has his own business, home, etc. and will be a dad in a few weeks. I just want him to know how much I love him and how proud I am of him. He is my baby and always will be!!! I know, quit the mushy stuff but I really do love him and all of my children. They are the best!!!

Grandma and her four angels!!!

Heather, Sophia, Jaylee, Faith, and Saige

We had a great week with Heather and the girls here. She came in on the 11th and stayed until the 18th. We kept busy visiting and going places. She got to see several of her friends too. We took Mommo out for lunch on her birthday which was the 13th. We went out to eat Saturday night with Aleia and Katie and got a babysitter for the girls. It was fun. Ron had to go to Pamona and the boys went turkey hunting on the weekend which was already planned before we knew she was coming. Everyone in the family came over for dinner on Monday night though and we all visited. Faith and Sophie had a blast together and kept us going. Faith would stop at times and cry because she didn't want her cousin going far far away. Even today she said Sophie was to far away. I had this week off for Fall Break. I've been sewing Faith and Jaylee's Halloween costumes. They are going to be clowns. I haven't sewed in a long time and it went pretty good. Hopefully, Jaylee's will fit her ok. Well, Ron went to another swap meet this weekend and I'm at home watching Charlie's Angel's (the movie) on tv. One more day and then back to work I go. I always think back and wonder what I accomplished. I'm really glad Heather, Sophie, and Saige came. Saige is such a good baby. She never crys and she sleeps really good. I sure miss them all. Hopefully they'll be back with Heath and the boys at Thanksgiving so we can see them and they can see the new baby, Brody!!!! He's due in about 3 weeks. I can't wait to see this little guy. Let's put in our bets for the date, weight, length, etc.

We're Hot!!!

Two Hot Babes!!!! What cuties Faith and Sophie are. They're 3 and half years old. They had a blast together this week especially when they hid from their mom's during Aunt Bailey's shower. You never know what is next with these two.

Bailey's Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Bailey Saturday, October 14. She got a lot of stuff including a crochet camoflauged baby blanket that I had made for the baby. I thought it was a pretty clever idea. I bought a bear that had on camo clothes and a backpack and some little overalls for the baby too.

Now to get busy!!! I made a cherry cobbler, went to the store, got the keys for the church, set it up (with Connie and Homer's help). Then Chuck Cynova, my cousin, called about 3:00 and was in town, so Ron went and picked him up in Tempe and brought him to the party. Mom didn't know he was in town so we surprised her. Actually, I think Linda was the most surprised as her mouth fell open and then she covered it so she wouldn't give it away to mom. Homer said, "Would you like to meet my mom's new boyfriend?" Mom said, "Well, that looks like Chuck!" Anyway, they were glad to see each other. We had a fun time. We had Spanish food for dinner. The little kids sang some Primary songs for mom and Eileen read a little life sketch of mom's life. Some of the grand kids and great grand kids couldn't make it and we sure did miss them all. We are lucky to have our family and that we are close to each other. Connie made a family tree using real leaves from Eager. (Fall Colors) It was really neat. I'm so thankful for the wonderful family that I have been blessed with. Momo apprciated all the hugs and kisses and the nice cards and gifts. Thanks to all of you that made her feel so special!!!
Crazy ladies!!!! Posted by Picasa
Friday I went to Strawberry with some of the sisters in my ward. We went to JoEllen Guthrie's cabin. I drove up with Lari Smith and Peggy Caffell. We had a good visit on the way. When we got there we went for a walk and found an apple tree. The apples tasted pretty good. The rest of the ladies got there (21 of us altogether). We had chili beans and cornbread and then we were entertained. (Depends on what you call entertainment, I guess) It was funny!!! (See picture attached). We played a gift exchange game where you either took a new gift or you took one from someone else who had already taken one. I stole from Lari and that got things going. We talked half the night and got up and ate breakfast and visited some more. I got home about 12:30 and the had to get moving to finish up things for my mom's 80th birthday.
