Jaylee Joy is Three Years Old Today!!!!

I remember the night she was born (or I should say early morning. What a beautiful little baby she was and still is. She is definately a "JOY" in our life. Jaylee, Grandma and Grandpa love you so much. We love your hugs and kisses! You are such a sweet and fun little girl. We had so much fun at your birthday party yesterday. We loved watching you try all the rides and even basketball! The years go by to fast!!! Slow down...PLEASE!

I finally got around to posting...It's long, but enjoy!!! It was a great reunion.

R.S. Retreat

We had a Relief Society Retreat in August. We went to Terri Greer's cabin in Pinetop. We played games on Friday night after dinner. In the morning we went to the Temple in Snowflake. Some of the ladies got lost and ended up going to a later session. Judy Cooley met us there. She used to be in our ward. Pat Claire, who also used to be in our ward came for dinner on Friday night. It was great to see them again. We all had a fun time. A few of us stayed most of the day on Saturday and then headed home. I'm so lucky to be in such a great ward with great sisters in it. Thanks Terri for letting us stay there. It was a blast!

Longhurst Reunion 2009

Friday, September 5, we headed out to our family reunion in the White Mountains. It rained when we got into Show Low, Lakeside, and Pinetop but when we got to our campsite it had cleared up. It was absolutely beautiful there. It rained a few hours on Saturday and Sunday but cleared up in time for our dinner and campfires. We basically ate, talked, rode 4 wheelers and Arctic Cats, and played games. The kids had so much fun together. There was 48 members of our family there. We really had a great time. We are so lucky to have our family and to be able to get together. We missed those who weren't there and hope they will be able to come next year! It's been a tradition for our family (The Longhurst's) to camp out every Labor Day weekend. It is great to be together and have fun together. Thanks to those that helped with the organization of the food and the 4 wheelers. We had a blast! I won't apologize that there is so many pictures..I just couldn't decide and I wanted to include everyone. I still probably left someone out. Sorry if I did!!!
