Just a few of the family..

Ronnie and Aleia

Some of the gang..

and some more of them...

Katie and the Roasted nuts before they were stolen from her!

Ronnie and his Anger Management DVD...LOL!

Mommo didn't quite understand how the game was played. Quite awhile after her turn was over she decided that she wanted the Dry Roasted peanuts that Anthon had.

He reluctedly replied and gave them up. We really enjoyed that! She still doesn't know that her turn was over unless someone took her gift.

Ron's gift...the scrubbing veggi glove!

Some of the gang!

Lydia, Mom, Connie, and Eileen (We missed having Linda there though, and of course our sweet daddy!)

Jaylee, Faith, and Lexie (Lexie ended up spending the night with Faith and Jaylee. I heard they had a great time!)

We had our annual Christmas party Saturday. Thank you to Josh and Meagan for letting us come to their home. We all brought Mexican food to eat and stuffed ourselves. Then we let all the little ones exchange gifts. They had a lot of fun. We had them all bring a white elephant from their own toys to share with each other. After they did their exchange the adults played their usual white elephant game. We did it a little different this year. There wasn't a three time exchange limit. It was all to the end. So of course the lucky person was the one who had the last number. Which just happened to be Christopher. He ended up with home made tamale's. I think that was a pretty good gift. I ended up with Penguin foot warmers and Ron got gloves that peel potatoes! After the gift game we had dessert! Yum, Yum! We missed all the families that couldn't be there! Linda and Mike, Dawneddie and Bronson's families, Heather's family, and Sariah's family, and Gerald's family. Hopefully someday we can all make it. It is hard when some live out of state, some is due with a baby, and some are finally home from a long hospital stay with their sweet little guy! We love all of you and wish you the very Merriest Christmas ever!

Gingerbread Houses

I had a fun night with Faith, Brody, and Jaylee thanks to Bailey for getting things moving. The first Gingerbread house was a flop because the icing was to old. So, we got out the graham crackers and I used a royal icing receipe for the icing. The kids had a lot of fun decorating their own little house. This is what Christmas is all about, the little ones!

Such concentration....

Grandma giving a little help.

Rigden, just chilling!

What goofballs! Say cheese!

Born To Be Wild!!!

Every year, the last Friday before Christmas, the faculty at Gilbert Elementary, (where I work) put on a play for all the students. This year it was really fun! Chris Martin, Julie Dunn, and I were in the song, "Born To Be Wild". WE started out in the audience singing, "We will, we will, rock you." Then we went on stage. Peggy Dole was to sing while we pretended to play the guitar and be her back up. We had technical difficulties and couldn't hear the music so we adlibbed. We had a fun time and wore ourselves out. The kids loved the program. Yeah...now for Christmas break!!!!

Grandma Etta's 80th Birthday!

Christopher confessing to Grandma about putting wrapping paper under her couch at the Christmas parties we had at her home. He did this for years with Bobby and probably a few others!

Sons giving their mom a kiss!

The interview...

Rigden slashed his head on a table! Poor baby!

Ron, Mom, and Gary

Some of the great grandkids.

We celebrated Ron's mom's 80th birthday on December 12. We reserved the church so we would have more room. Ron and I went down early and decorated it. Ron, Gary, and Judy went and picked her up and told her that I had to finish something at the church for our Trek To Bethlehem program. They brought her in pretending that they were going to show her something that I had been working on. As she walked in everyone yelled surprise and sang Happy Birthday to her. We all brought Mexican food for dinner and had quite the feast! Afterwards the kids played and sang with each other while we interviewed Etta about her life. Jason taped her and I had asked Traci to ask her the questions. I feel that Etta really enjoyed talking bout her life and sharing it with us. It was fun to all get together and I hope we can do it more often.
Then there is....my enchilada story! After we got home around 10:00 that evening, we had unloaded the car and got my Pjs on. I asked Ron where the left over enchilada's were. He didn't know and then I remembered I had sat them on the trunk of the car when we were looking for the church keys for the umpteen time. We took the broom and dust pan back to the church to clean up the mess since it was in a glass dish. As we got close to turning into the church I saw something in the road. I thought it was the enchilada's. When we got closer I saw that it was my camera...my Canon Rebel camera. I about died!!! Ron picked it up and I took it out of the case and it was alright! Thank goodness! Who cared about the enchilada's and my nice dish any more. I was so thankful that my camera was not broken to pieces!!! The only bad thing was...several days later I was looking for my battery charger. I thought it fell out at the Trek and I had been calling around to see if anyone had found it. They didn't! Then I thought we should look in the road where I found my camera. It was there! Smashed to smithereens! Oh well. better than my expensive camera.

What a Saturday!

What a Saturday! I'm babysitting Brody and Rigden for the weekend. Then Ronnie wanted me to watch Jaylee so he could take Faith out 4 wheeling. When they got here Faith wanted to stay with me and the other kids. I think I must be getting older than I think...they pooped me out in more ways than one.
