Back in July...2008 Ethan's 8th Birthday July 2, 2008

Ethan turned 8 years old on July 2nd, 2008. I'm so glad that I was there to help him celebrate it. We celebrated at Chuckie Cheeses. We ate pizza, played games, won a lot of tickets, ate birthday cake, and opened presents. I can't believe Ethan is eight and will get baptized. He is such a special young boy with a heart full of love for everyone.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

It finally worked! Faith and Grandma!

I had a picture of Faith but I can't get it to post. I've tried more than a dozen times... maybe tomorrow? Oh yeah, if your wondering about Faith's beautiful pink shirt...it's a shirt I bought after hiking the Grand Canyon. It was her PJ's for the night. She didn't want to wear her costume when she got up so she just kept the shirt on most of the day. The sleep over was a spur of the moment decision so we didn't have her PJ's or change of clothes.

Sleep over with Faith

Friday night after our Halloween Festivities Faith came home with us and stayed the night. She said we were having a party! First we ate some candy (just a little), then we played a game and then read a book. After that she played NickJr. games on the computer. She didn't go to sleep until 12:30. In the morning she wanted to finish our party. So I curled her hair. It took over an hour because it is so thick. Then she wanted to invite someone over. She said how about Becky. (my next door neighbor, who she loves). Becky wasn't home so she left her a message. Becky called her back and Faith asked her to come see her beautiful hair. What Becky didn't know was that Faith had a plan. She had a glass of ice water on a napkin for her. When she came in Faith told her we were having a party. So, being the good person Becky is she played right along. Faith sat her down and went and got my blush. Becky let her put it on and then she let her paint her nails. Then Faith told her she was going to paint a picture of her. She did the colors of her shirt and even her hair clip in her hair. Faith was so excited. Thanks Becky for making my grand daughter so happy. Faith is helping Becky learn to be a Grandma. Her first grandchild will be born in December. Yeah! I'm so glad I get to have these experiences with Faith. I just wish Sophie was here too so she could do it with us.

Jaylee Turned Two On September 27th!!

Jaylee was actually up North for her birthday again this year so we celebrated with our family after they got home. We went to Costa Vida's for dinner and then back to our house for cake and gifts. I got her the same little dog that I got Saige that sings "Close To You." Brody sure likes to give kisses. Sometimes they turn into a bite though. Faith had fun dressing Jaylee up in my make up and putting on the Princess stuff that Brody gave Jaylee. It was fun watching the kids stick their fingers in the cake as they were waiting for it to be lit. Happy Birthday Jayalee, you are such a sweetie pie!

Saige turned three while I was in Utah. We went to Heath's parents house for Crepe Sunday and to watch General Conference. I'm glad I was able to be there for her birthday. She had so much fun opening her gifts and dressing up. Happy Birthday Saige. Grandma loves and misses you!

I still have so much to post....
My trip to Utah...my beautiful new grandaughter, Grace Lydia!!!
My past trips to Utah...Ethan's baptism in July and Jaylee and Saige's birthdays. I still haven't bought a new router yet so I can download pictures off of my lap top. I need to do it because this is my journaling. So, when I do...you don't have to read it all. I thought I had some pictures of Gracie on this PC of Ron's but I don't...Oh well, I guess I'll go watch TV!!!

Halloween 2008

Tonight we went over to Christopher and Bailey's and had our traditional Bread Bowls and soup. It was Yummy of course. Bailey's family was there also. After dinner we went Trick or Treating with the kids. They had so much fun. They would say thank you every time they would get candy. I'm glad we get to spend time with our grandchildren and children. We do miss Heather and her family though. Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

Ward Halloween Party

We had our annual Halloween Party tonight at the ward. Aleia and Bailey brought the kids to it. We ate hot dogs (some of them were quite crisp) and chili beans. The kids played a few games and then went Trunk or Treating. They seemed to have a lot of fun. Ron and I are on the Activities Committee so we had to help set it up and cook. Bailey helped Ron when she got there while I spilled rootbeer all over Brody trying to keep him from falling over in a chair. The kids had their face painted by the Young Women. Jaylee stole someones Pumpkin candy holder but we found the owner. I'm glad my daughter-in-laws brought my grandkids. I love showing them off and taking them around. It's a blast being a Grandma! I wish my other grandkids could have been there too. I sure missed them!

Cousins from Mexico

Diane and her family came to town to go to a Zrii meeeting with Bill Farley. It was fun to meet her family. We went out to eat Saturday night and then went back to Christopher's and Bailey's to visit. Joshua and Meagan came over too. Christopher went to Mexico now and is having meetings there. He deserves to make it big in Zrii. He is working so hard! Check out Bailey's post on her blog. I loved it! Thanks Bailey for being so supportive to your husband. You are the best wife he could ever have.

Happy Birthday Christopher!!!

Christopher and his family.

Christopher on his blessing day.
Today is Christopher's 28th birthday. I can't believe how fast the years have really gone. He'll be going to a Spanish Zrii meeting tonight so we'll have to celebrate his birthday this weekend! Diane (Longhurst) is down with her family to go to the Zrii meeting with him. Zrii is starting in Mexico and is a great opprtunity for everyone. Anyway, Christopher, I hope you have a great day. I'm glad that you are our son and we love you very much. You are such a hard worker and I know you will be successful!

Here I go again.

I sure haven't been good about blogging lately. So I'm going to try to catch up a little.

A Long time!!!

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I have posted. I've been so busy with going back to work and trying to get our Zrii business going. I never posted pictures from the Zrii Launch and my visit to Utah in May and then when I went back in July. My laptop isn't hooked up right now and all my pictures are on that. I need a new router(sp). I better get better organized because this is like my journal now a days. I still get on and read everyone elses blog though.

I went to see a movie Thursday night with Connie and Katie. It was called "The Women". It was pretty good. The ending was the best! Connie is down for a few days while Homer is out of town. We had gone out to eat on Wednesday night with our mom too. I'm glad I've got to visit with Connie while she is here. I'm going to try to get pictures off of this P.C. of Ron's. I know I downloaded some but I don't know if they are the ones I would like to post. You'll find out later!

For my Grandsons! I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.
