Ok, I have a stray cat who gave birth to four or five kitttens. They run when you try to get close to them and then they hide in the wood pile. Any ideas anyone? I really don't want them to keep having babies! I'm really not a cat lover. Kittens are cute but that's about it! The picture was taken from inside my pantry.
I've been married to my husband Ron, for 40 years now...that's a long time. Animal control is probably the only option. ONLY because they are already wild and there isn't much you can do with them once they aren't people friendly.
My parents have some wild kittens in their back yard too. I caught two of them yesterday and there are three more. You need to put something out there that they can play in (like a big box)and lay it down so they can run in and out of it. When you see them playing by it then go after them. They will most likely run in the box then you just stand it up and put the lid on or close the box...anyway, that's what I did but they were playing in an old pig feeder. I couldn't catch the others in the woodpile. ps. don't forget to wear gloves.
Where are they? In the back yard, how did you take the picture from your pantry. I don't like cats very much either.
