Camp LoMia

I went to girls camp for the first time in years the end of May. I used to go every year when my kids were young. I had a lot of fun with the sweet ladies I worked with. My niece Traci is the Young Women's Stake President and I've always wanted to go to camp with her. Years ago I went with all of her friends when they were all in Young Women's. We were in another stake and so we never were there together. I was so impressed by her sweet spirit and the wonderful job she did there. She has such a strong testimony and love for all the girls. It was worth going just to listen to the spiritual presentation she did for the Young Women. I'm so proud of the strong and spiritual woman that she has become. I always felt that she would be a great leader when she grew up. I love you Traci!!!!
I worked with Debbie Letner and Becky Hastings. They were great to work with and are such strong spiritual giants! We were over the certification for all the girls. We also had a day spa after the girls got home from their hikes. We did their hair, and nails. For the first aid section we had a mock disaster. It turned out great and the girls seemed to enjoy it. It was quite funny with some of their reactions. We watched the sun rise twice. Once to see what time we needed to get up and the actual time the girls came out. I really had a fun time even though I was so tired when I got home.
I went to Camp LoMIa when I was a girl and had so many fun experiences. It brought back a lot of memories!

No. We used tissue and vaseline. It looked really real. We had a lot of people fooled.
