Sister Outing

Thursday night Connie, Eileen, and I went to the Pointe at Squaw Peak for a Sister Outing.  We ate at the restaurant right by it.  We had  citrus salmon and mixed vegetables with bread sticks.  We went back to the hotel and watched a movie.  Friday we got up and went for a hike.  It was about 4 miles.  It was beautiful outside.  After we got back we went to eat at Aunt Enchilada's.  I had a huge chicken enchilada.  It was really good.  Then we went back to our room and changed into our swimsuits.  There is a Lazy River and several swimming pools at the hotel.  We floated around and relaxed by the pool.  Connie went back and soaked in the tub and Eileen and I went to the Jacuzzi.  When we got back to our room we got cleaned up and went out for dinner.  We had some really yummy barbecue pork.  Connie and I shared because we had ate a double dip huge ice cream cone.  Boy were we full!!!  Saturday we got up and got some pumpkin bread for breakfast and sat by the pool before we had to check out.

When we got home we got ready for Shauna's baby shower.  It started at 2:00.  connie and I went to Target to get her some gifts.  After the shower all the grandkids and great grandkids came over for Mommo's 86th birthday.  We had cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and fruit left over from the shower.  We then took mom to Serano's for dinner.  Just Linda, Kyra, Homer, Connie Eileen, Ron and I.  She seemed to really enjoy her meal.
